alteration and additions to a house in mooikloof country estate
A large-scale renovation project that were undertook some years back required a complete renovation and alteration of an existing house to accommodate a new owner and his family.
Placed on a hectare property, its sprawling design needed updating, in order to allow a more fluent and modern approach to lifestyle and space. Existing finishes had to be replaced with higher quality and more contemporary finishes, while at the same time improving size and design of bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms and joinery fittings.
The overall style and character of the house needed to be revamped and outdated and poor design as well as construction work needed to be corrected where possible.
With completion of the project, a Ranch-style architecture combined with the client’s specific taste requirements was achieved, while remaining within the Estate’s architectural guidelines.
